Online Risk Assessment for Breast Cancer
If you are concerned that you may be at risk for breast cancer, Albert Einstein Healthcare Network recommends that you make
an appointment with the Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Program. If you want to learn more about your risk for breast cancer,
visit the
National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project web site.
The site offers a computerized formula that estimates a woman's risk of developing breast cancer in the next five years and
in her lifetime. The model uses factors such as age, family history of breast cancer, and other personal factors to estimate
the level of risk.
