Urogynecology is the study, diagnosis and treatment of problems of the female pelvis. A urogynecologist is a physician who is trained to evaluate the entire pelvis, including its organs, muscles, bloods vessels, ligaments and nerves. This entire pelvic region is sometimes called the pelvic floor.
