With more than 30 years experience as a total joint surgeon, John T. Williams Sr., MD, diagnoses and treats a complete range
of orthopedic conditions including fractures, overuse injuries, lower back pain, spine conditions, foot and ankle problems,
arthritic joints, hand and wrist injuries and much more. After many years of practice in Philadelphia and its suburbs, Dr.
Williams focuses on non-surgical management of orthopedic conditions, and is a key member of Albert Einstein Medical Center’s
Orthopedics Department, which features both highly specialized niche expertise and general orthopedics.
Dr. Williams earned his medical degree at Howard University College of Medicine and completed both an internship and residency
at Albert Einstein Medical Center. Dr. Williams is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and is a fellow
of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. As a former Assistant Professor of Orthopedics at Temple University School
of Medicine and now as an Assistant Professor at Thomas Jefferson University, Dr. Williams puts his vast experience and expertise
to work training the next generation of physicians. He serves as President of the Medical Society of Eastern Pennsylvania.
Dr. Williams is also a member of the American Medical Society, the National Medical Society, the Orthopedic Society of Trauma,
the North American Spine Society, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the Eastern Orthopedic Society, the Philadelphia County
Medical Society and the Philadelphia Orthopedic Society.
