Albert Einstein Healthcare Network honors your right to make healthcare decisions in advance and to name a person in writing who can make decisions for you when you cannot. You can give these instructions in a Pennsylvania Living Will, in a Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare, or by other means. Hospital staff is required by law to ask if you have an advance directive. We encourage you to discuss advance directives with your doctor and loved ones.
