Planned Giving

It doesn’t take a lot of money to become a philanthropist. You can help ensure your future and Einstein’s through planned giving — and join our Legacy Circle. Planned gifts have many advantages far beyond the immeasurable satisfaction of helping Einstein. They provide tax savings, income and opportunities to ensure continuity of wealth for your children. Read on to learn how your legacy can be one of generosity through gift annuities or other planned gifts.

Gift Annuities

Join the Legacy Circle of Einstein by becoming an Annuitant. Gift annuities provide you with income you cannot outlive and, at the same, help Einstein. There are two types of annuities. A Charitable Gift Annuity pays a fixed annual lifetime income in exchange for an irrevocable gift of $5,000 or more. Rates of payout are based on age and range from 6% for someone 55 years of age or older to 12% for someone who is 90. A Deferred Charitable Gift Annuity also pays a fixed annual lifetime income in exchange for a gift. However, the payout rate is much higher because you delay receiving the income. You may become a Deferred Payment Annuitant beginning at age 40.

A portion of the income you receive from either type of annuity is tax-deductible. And you receive a tax deduction the year you make your gift.

Other Planned Gifts

There are many ways you can plan a gift to Einstein and join our Legacy Circle: You may choose to include Einstein in your Will; name Einstein as a beneficiary of your IRA or other retirement plan; create a Trust with a lead gift to Einstein, or with a remainder gift. You may also gift appreciated stocks, an insurance policy, real estate, Israel or U.S. Savings Bonds to Einstein.
