Questions about the Einstein Web Site
What is the Einstein Contact Center? It's the physician referral and health information center for all services at Albert Einstein Healthcare Network. Each year
thousands of callers use this free, confidential service to find a doctor, obtain health information, schedule appointments
and register for upcoming events. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday, 8:30

How Do I Access the Contact Center?
Staffed by registered nurses and trained Contact Center counselors, Einstein’s Contact Center manages incoming calls for these
telephone lines:

scheduling and requests for health information.
- 1-800-CALL MOSS– Referrers and patients can obtain referrals to MossRehab physicians or information about MossRehab programs and services
using this line. Patients can also use this line to schedule appointments and request health information.

Health.

Callers have the following four options:
Physician Referral and Information
The Einstein Contact Center uses a comprehensive, computerized database system that enables staff to match consumers with
the physicians and services that best meet their healthcare needs. Active Einstein physicians, psychologists, nurse practitioners
and program and service directors can use the Contact Center to promote practices, programs and services.
Health Information
A searchable health information database allows Einstein Contact Center nurses to provide consumers with accurate facts on
more than 6,000 health and wellness topics including diseases, medications, tests and procedures. Contact Center nurses field
calls and can mail consumers the appropriate fact sheets upon request.
Triage
When necessary, the Contact Center’s triage nurses can direct callers to the appropriate levels of care using symptom-based
protocols, which have been approved by our medical leadership.
Event Registration and Follow-up The Contact Center also coordinates telephone registration and follow-up phone calls for the network’s many special community
events, including health screenings and wellness lectures. To take advantage of this service, contact 1-800-EINSTEIN.
